New Adherents

Eileen Buxton , Ken & Sheila Daglish

EILEEN first became involved with the corps through the day trips run by the fellowship group. She enjoyed the trips so much she started attending Sunday meetings, where she was made very welcome. She made many new friends and felt she should give something back to the corps and now helps with the luncheon club and the evergreen club.

Ken grew up in an Army family in Newcastle. He moved to Burton with his family, but was widowed. He then met Sheila and they have been married for 16 months. They decided to return to the Army and first went on fellowship group trips. They are both finding fellowship and peace of mind and are becoming more involved in the evergreen club and attend Sunday meetings. Ken, Sheila and Eileen were welcomed as adherent members by Colonel David Hinton (THQ). — K. A.
